In a constant effort to optimize time, be more efficient, and create projects with ever-increasing quality, LAPOST presents a new member of its technological infrastructure team: Da Vinci, special software for video colorization.
This software allows us to work with the highest quality files in real time; an example of this is the ability to move RAW files from high definition Alexa cameras.
In addition to Da Vinci we also employ a Smoke that works with 24 nuclei, creating an effective post-production combination for the current demands of high definition moving images.
Winners of the bronze prize in Ciclope

LAPOST was awarded the bronze prize in the branding category of the International Advertising Craft Festival CICLOPE, for its video mapping developed for the debut of Chevrolet’s Cruze in the Bogota Automobile Fair 2010.
This festival recognizes the best professionals and best companies in advertising film production. Its inaugural celebration took place last December in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with the participation of video, music, and animation producers, post-producers, advertising agencies, television channels and independent professionals from countries around the world. Projects presented by Argentina, Brazil, the United States and England were singled out for their excellence.
Fifteen jurors of international fame were chosen to select the winners. Among those winners was LAPOST, representing Colombia’s world-class ability in post-production.

Editamos largometraje La Vida Era En Serio

Después de ser finalizado, el largometraje ópera prima de la directora Mónica Borda se presentó con gran acogida del público en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena 2011 y su estrenó será el 26 de agosto del mismo año en salas de cine.
Rodado en 35 milímetros, protagonizado por Cristina Umaña y Patricia Castañeda, La Vida era en Serio es una coproducción entre Colombia y Venezuela que ha recibido varios reconocimientos como el estímulo Ibermedia 2006 para coproducción de largometrajes, el premio del CNAC- Venezuela en coproducción minoritaria y cuenta con 10 temas musicales aporte de algunas bandas que se unieron al proyecto.
En materia de cine, LAPOST ha estado involucrada en proyectos de gran importancia como La Sociedad del Semáforo quien ganó el premio en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena 2011 como mejor película colombiana.
Contracorriente y Todos tus Muertos para los cuales se hiceron los trailers y trabajos de color para los documentales Por qué llora si ya reí homenaje a la artista Beatriz González y a los 15 uno ya es grande en conmemoración de los 15 años del Festival de música Rock al Parque.
New Offices

As LAPOST continues to grow, we realized the 180 square meters of our old offices was not enough. We relocated to Carrera 12A # 78-40, in an attractive and comfortable 400 square meter house. The additional space allows us to share offices with our strategic allies, leading to an even better flow of ideas.
Our offices include five independent editing rooms to maintain the privacy and confidentiality our clients require in the development of their projects. In addition, clients will enjoy several conference rooms and an open air terrace.

LAPOST is the company in charge of all post-production for the first exclusive internet channel for Colombia’s National Soccer team, sponsored by AGUILA beer.
A strategic alliance with the companies 90 Cuadros (exclusive producers of audiovisual content for the Colombian Soccer Federation) and Panorámica (executive producers) led to the realization of an internet channel that transmits everything related with Colombia’s National Team’s participation in different soccer events such as the Copa Americas 2011, the Under-20 World Cup, and the qualifying tournament for the World Cup 2014.
Daily content capsules will post training sessions, games, interviews, and events. This requires conceptual, technological, and human support to keep up the pace of content emission updated on the channel; a task LAPOST is more than ready for.
This is the first web channel in the country that boasts applications to access its content through mobile devices.
